The ideas I explore are reflected in the physical, making processes that I choose. I use intaglio and screenprinting techniques, photographic imagery and found objects that are significant to me. My approach is haptic. I transform cloth and paper by printing, dyeing, rusting, folding, layering, pleating and stitching.

I was raised in a household where fabric was revered, rescued and reused.

I am interested in the notion of making, un-making and re-making. I apply a system of doing and un-doing, like an incantation, to impose order and disorder. I allude to themes of memory, family and identity, ritual and repetition.
